The Ladies European Tour (LET) is a professional golf tour for women established in 1978. Its headquarters are located at Buckinghamshire Golf Club near London, England. Similar to numerous sports organizations based in the UK, the LET operates as a company limited by guarantee, a legal framework that prioritizes maximizing returns for its members through prize money rather than generating profits for investors.
The tour is governed by a board of directors and a Players’ Council. While the majority of players on the LET are European, the tour boasts members from over 40 countries worldwide. It organizes tournaments across five continents, reflecting its global reach and appeal to female golfers from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.
